January’s board meeting is this Thursday at 7pm.
Note the new location: Estrella Mountain Community College at Dysart and Thomas, in room C-120 of the Estrella Conference Center.
The Design Review Committee will meet at 6:30pm, just before the board meeting.

Well, there was no meeting in December, and I’m remiss in getting the draft minutes out for November… though nobody has asked about them. You should read them! Really!

Note that board meetings are now being held at the Estrella Mountain Community College at Thomas and Dysart in room C-201. Here’s a map… parking and the meeting room are designated with stars. I recommend turning before reaching Thomas, on the north side of the campus, and park in the parking lot on the north side of the campus. Look for the Estrella Conference Center, Room C-120.
Like the draft October minutes I just posted, we also are attempting to publish the draft meeting agenda in advance of the upcoming meetings.

Some of you like to keep up with what goes on at the regular board meetings, and since the middle of 2018 we’ve been striving to put draft minutes up. I haven’t been really good at getting them up in a timely manner… but we’re working on getting this to be a more regular, timely thing.
Keep in mind these are not the official meeting minutes, but a draft version that will be corrected and/or approved at the upcoming November meeting.

The Regular Board Meeting for November is scheduled this year on the FIFTH THURSDAY of the month, November 29. The Board Meeting starts at 7pm, and if there are any Architectural Requests to be reviewed, the Design Review Committee will meet just before the Board meeting, at 6:30pm.
As with most recent meetings, this meeting will also be held at the Avondale Civic Center, located at 11465 W. Civic Center Dr., Avondale, Arizona 85323. Go south on Avondale Blvd from I-10, past Van Buren; turn left in the Jefferson turn bay; the building will be right ahead of you. Normally we’re in the Mojave Room, but ask the guard at the front desk for the location in case it might be different.
No meeting is scheduled in December.
Meetings starting in January of 2019 will be held at the Estrella Mountain Community College on the corner of Dysart and Thomas. More information will be provided here and elsewhere prior to the January meeting.
